This stop qualifies for three states, Utah, Arizona and Nevada, because it is the common site of the three state boundaries. Here's a picture for proof that this bug visited all three states at once! This red sandstone monument was set in the middle of nowhere (and is still in the middle of nowhere) in the 1800's. The south side was engraved with "International Boundary" and "37 NL" (37 degrees north latitude), back when Arizona was not yet part of the United States. It was supposed to be at 114 degrees west longitude, but it is actually about 2.5 miles further west than that, because of the primitive measurements made by the early surveyors. Well, enough of Nevada, we're movin on.
