I was glad to finally get off that train. Trying to avoid the Cops and Bulls was quite an experience. I've finally found a quiet place to spend the winter and get some cross-country skiing done (not enough slopes for snowboarding). I've been to both US coasts so it's nice to finally meet in the "middle".

Today the North County Bunny Squad needed to burn off some Thanksgiving calories. We actually should be storing up for the LOOOOONNNNGGGG cold winter ahead, but that's another story. The squad was enjoying the weather and hike, when we came across Sam who was hanging out with the coyotes and alligator lizards of Paridise Rock. We all hit it off quite well after basking in the sun and a taking a few photos. When we mentioned to Sam about our next journey, he seemed to be quite interested, so we offered him some room on the Pacific Santa Fe freight car we're going to stowaway on in the next few days.
