Current Goal

The Bug "Thinker" has a mission to have as many people read (and THINK about) it's words as possible. As well as sign/date it's pages. It would eventually like to make it's way to the Lockport, NY USA area via dry ammo box caches (and the like) only.

About This Item

THINKER

EDIT/NOTICE!: Before I released the TB THINKER I wrote "TB THINKER" in black marker on the yellow band (right under the Voyageur logo) and on the back of the bag as well. Note that it's not in the picture. Sorry.

This Bug is a book (as if you couldn't tell, right?). The Man Who Planted Trees by Jean Giono is a very good story that all should read. Especially those of us who love nature and partake in it's gifts. It's a quick read (@50pgs.). Will take about 20min at most to get through.

NOTE: This is not a religious or political motivated Bug. Just a good read. And, actually, this is the 1st of many Bugs to be released that I hope make people... Well,... "THINK!" Have fun :)

Thanks for the good read, story and background are inspiring. I'll be planting a few trees in the backyard this fall, the field there was once a forest. Perhaps it will be again in 15-20 years. Thanks!

Found Thinker on a beautiful sunny day, my first Travel Bug. I have begun reading the Man Who Planted Trees, I think I'll enjoy it being a tree lover myself. When I first saw the book, it made me think of John Muir, a man with such great vision for his time, who was instrumental in preserving Yosemite Valley.
