I WANT TO GO BACK TO SWEDEN! I am part of the Sweden-Canada travelbug race between "In Den sista sfinxen - I.R.C. (Sweden) & TB Pit Stop" (GC1B95J) in Sweden and "I.R.C. & Travel Bug Pitstop (ON, Canada)" (GC1E677) in Canada. I am the fastest sheep out there and I will prove it by going to from Sweden to Canada and back, but I will need your help. Please take me to caches that will increase my chances of winning.
When I recently was quietly grazing in my small field in southern Sweden I happened to run into a tiny and very strange creature. I would not say that this creature was weird, but I had never seen anything like it. It looked like a beaver, but it was so much smaller than what you would expect in a beaver that I almost thought that i was loosing my mind. As it turned out this was a Ses. Or more exactly a beaverses, one of the many small creatures that live around us but hardly anybody seems to know about. This beaverses, called Buckee Canuck, was not only small but also quite cheeky. After about an hour of listening to him going on and on about how far he had travelled and how smart he was to use unknowing humans to transport him I had had enough.
- OK! I said. If you think you are so fast I will race you anywhere you want in the world and we will see who is faster.
Apparently he had not expected this and he immediately started to go on about how much he had to do back home and how much he longed for his native Canada.
- Pfft! I said. Then we'll do it like this. You go back home and stay there for a while to "get rested" (I secretly thought that he might need the time to boost some courage). Then you will race to my home and back to yours, while I will do the same from here. That way you will know that when you loose, you will at least be on your way home. What do you say?
In the face of such an eloquent speech he dared not decline and the race was determined to start on July 28th 2008. With him in Canada and me in Sweden.
Let the game begin and the best sheep win!
Update! I have now been to my canadian goal and have to get back home in time for the hartvest. I got caught by some associates of my adversary but I gave them the slip are now running for my life!
You can have a look
here to see how Buckee Canuck is doing in the race.
Want to know more about the
Ses ? They are little creatures
that the famed geographer Rich Meyrick writes very funny books about.
