Buckee Canuck

I am currently headed for Lund in Sweden. In fact, I’m in a race to get to Maskängen (GC4FC9B) as fast as possible! Please help me if you can.

My name is Buckee Canuck and I’m a Ses, or more precisely a Beaverses. For those of you who don’t know, Beaverses are distant relatives of beavers. You can find out more by clicking the picture of Jaspa below.

A few months ago I was backpacking around Europe, seeing its sights and taking in its different cultures. The Europeans love us Canadians and I was welcomed everywhere I went and by everyone I met. Well, almost everyone...

Of all the countries I visited, Sweden was one of my favourite. The landscape is beautiful, the cities are exciting and the people are absolutely great. Sadly though, Sweden is also home to one of the rudest creatures it’s ever been my misfortune to meet. He was sheep called Sven, or ‘Swift the Sheep Racer’ as the big-headed blowhard prefers to be called!

One afternoon I was shooting the breeze with a group of young Hareses, when out of the blue ‘Swift’ barges up and challenges me to a race! One second I’m minding my own business, enjoying some pleasant company, the next I’ve got some lunatic daring me to race him.

I politely declined, truthfully telling him I had responsibilities at home that I had already put off for too long. Unfortunately, he seemed to mistake my mature and dependable nature for cowardice. So, with national and personal pride on the line, I was forced to accept his challenge.

“Go home to Canada and take care of your so-called responsibilities!” Sven declared sarcastically. “But on July 28th 2008 the race is on. You have to get from where you live home in Canada to where I live in Sweden and back again. I’ll do the same in reverse, and the first one to return home is the winner.”

So I’d appreciate your help in putting this loud-mouthed boaster in his place. I’m currently on the outbound leg of the race, heading for Sven’s home in Sweden. Can you please help me get there?
