And then with this cache, the Delaware counties are finished up and that makes the 4th state where I have gotten a cache I all the counties. Whoooohooo!!!

This cache completes all the Maryland Counties for Super_Nate and I. This is the 3rd state which I have found a cache in all the state’s counties. How fun!!

It was a little trek out to the oldest cache in Delaware but it was worth it!!! Walking down a sandy path through a beachy forest with lovely water right along our path to look at. We had fun company to entertain us, as you can see the young cacher who accompanied the few TBs that were able to fit into the hiking backpack. This container was top notch too!!

We found ourselves the oldest cache in Maryland!!! It seems to be kept safe and sound even though the trail down to it is so popular. It was a very hot and muggy day when we hiked down to it. It got a little exhausting! But it was worth it for the delight of such a great grandpa cache!!

Visiting Fort McHenry today but sadly it is all closed up for COVID. So we just walked around it and listened to our personal tour and history guide, PathfinderMark. He said there is a spectacular show of the Star Spangled Banner with the flag when the visitor center is open. So we will be back!

Visited 6/9/2020 Called2care took it to Maryland High Point Cache Maryland - 1.3 miles  Visit Log

Our most anticipated cache was upon us, sadly only a few lucky TBs got to ride in the backpack all the way up the the cache. It was a strenuous one way trail of about a mile straight up the hill. We definitely ran out of water about halfway back down. But the reward at the top was worth it!!! We reached the highest point in Maryland and got a cache from 2001. How cool!!! We signed the HP registry, logged the cache and took lots of pics before we headed back down.

Visited 6/9/2020 Called2care took it to Smallest Church in 48 States West Virginia - 125.55 miles  Visit Log

We found one of the acclaimed smallest churches in the lower 48 states! It was so cute but sadly closed up for COVID-19. It had an acclaimed smallest post office right next to it and a little outhouse. I say acclaimed because I’ve been to a smaller of each (in Georgia and Florida). But it’s still so cute to visit!!!

Visited 6/9/2020 Called2care took it to Noah's Cache Maryland - 96.28 miles  Visit Log

IDay 3 of our eastern states road trip. We came across an unfinished replica of Noah’s ark! I did some google and found out the non-denominational church began to build it in the 1970’s and just never finished it! Wonder why... the animal TBs gathered up for a pic since they figured they would be entering the ark! Oh ya and the mermaid cuz she figured she would swim along!!
