Almost dnf'd a TB tag. After scouring what was thought was every inch, called for a lifeline. 🤕 Then had left glasses in car, so needed help reading. It was a 50sumtin day as we CITO'd in the morning, then traveled to Cove Beach at Ana Nuevo, braved The Mines of Moria, and stopped here to see Bud's Table, then later the SMCSLT event. Thank you for helping to make Bud's Table happen.

Mrs. niraD and I dropped by to see Bud's Table before the So many caches, So little time, event, and stayed to tour the surrounding buildings at Wilder Ranch. I think this is a fitting memorial. Thanks for letting us be part of it.

The Baby Keb Family came by to pay respects to Bud after the Seabright CITO event today.

Thought at first that we could "retrieve" the TB and move to scenic locations around the Bay Area, but my pack, and body, is only designed to carry about 50 lbs so that idea was quickly discarded. Loved the location. Had fun visiting the chickens and goats. Always have enjoyed old buildings and farm implements.

When we arrived there was a group of people eating a delicious lunch complete with wine. At first they must have wondered why unusual people holding devices were wandering around aimlessly nearby. I finally told them the story of the table and travel bugs. They were all quite intrigued and began looking underneath the table to find the tag.

Thanks to the Geocachers of the Bay Area for donating this fitting memorial. Miss you 50sumtin.

Stopped by to visit the table on this day of honoring Bud's memory. I wish I had had the pleasure of knowing him. I have heard so much about what a wonderful person he was. I have only begun to scratch the surface of his many cache hides, but have found them to be interesting and high quality. I look forward to finding more of them. Thanks to Touchstone for leading the way and for everyone who contributed.

The table was awesome and in a perfect place. The Wilder Ranch is a great place. Bud was a great man and I'm glad I got to join in today remembering him. Thanks

This table is a wonderful way to honor Bud, a man who gave so much to the geocaching community. After she saw quite a number of people come by the table today, I had one of the docents ask me about him and who he was. It felt good to tell her all about 50sumtin and what he meant to us. I like to call it 'The Bud Story.' There's not a day that goes by that I don't think about him and about how very little time any of us have. We miss you Bud.

A moment to reflect on how brief our time is here and what we do with it. I remember Bud in his commitment to expand the game and keep the quality high. Lofty ambitions to continue, but the footprints are large enough to follow, may we never lose sight of them.

Mommy and I came here and found the table. We also found the best tree ever nearby. I want to come back here again and again, so we will definitely visit this spot some more. I even asked if we could come live in Santa Cruz. Yes, it's THAT good of a tree.

Mommy told me that you're in Heaven now, Mr. Bud. I know we've found a lot of your caches. Thank you for being such a nice man when you were here. Say hi to my Granddad for me.
