Well, guess what I found sitting under the Pisgah Covered Bridge? Yes, it was little Jitterbug, and he said he wanted to check out the rivers and streams in my very beautiful part of the world. For gosh sakes, how could I say no? So I carefully scooped him up in a jar and have carried him home with me. In a day or two you should see him showing up in an entirely different area of the country to meet up with some different fish entirely.

  • The Pisgah covered bridge This is the area where Skyriverblue found Jitterbug. He enjoyed the creek, but now it's time for him to move to greener (or bluer) pastures.

Grabbed this one from my Boathouse Bivouac cache. It was never logged as left there, but I had the chance to grab it and take it to the Outer Banks with me. The little fellow got to see all 5 of the major lighthouses, the Atlantic Ocean, Pamlico Sound, Roanoke Sound, and Albemarle Sound before I dropped him off on Roanoke Island at OBX Lost and Found.

I found this little fellow while checking on my own cache in City Lake Park. Because of its mission, I grabbed it even though it hasn't been logged in on the website yet. I figure someone must have just planted it and hasn't had time to do that yet. I'll wait a day or so to let that person log it in, and then I'll come back and make everything "official," if need be.

I'll be traveling to the Outer Banks at the end of June, and I thought that would make a nice visit for Jitter Bug.
