This coin is being released as part of the Todie's Wild Ride Bike Awareness Project initiated by Rockin Roddy in response to the death of his good friend Tod Phillips. On August 12, 2008, Tod was riding a motorcycle when he was killed in an accident caused by a left turning vehicle. Tod was one third of Team Rod & Tod w/KAboom. This coin is released in his memory and in memory of all motorcyclists killed on the road. As part of this coins journey, I would like to collect different tips for drivers to be more aware of motorcycles, bicycles and pedestrians. Feel free to add any tips you wish to the logs to share with others.

This coin is part of a huge mission to raise awareness of bikes (both motorized and human powered) on the roadways. The specific mission of this coin is to get all drivers to LOOK TWICE, SAVE A LIFE!!
There actually is a website called LOOK TWICE SAVE A LIFE! It is a bumpersticker company that specializes in a bumper sticker with the same phrase. There are a few other things on their site to check out including this poem:
When you feel the breeze

The road ahead feels so fine
And I know it's all mine.
