This Travel Gopher comes from Kolomoki Mounds State Historic Park, Blakely GA 229-724-2150

This unusual park is an important archaeological site as well as a scenic recreational area. Occupied by America Indians between 350-750 A.D., there are 7 earthen mounds and a museum built around an excavated mound, providing a unique setting. Inside the museum visitors will enjoy numerous artifacts and an interesting film There are 5 miles of great hiking trails for all activity levels, and canoe rentals for hours of good fishing. Other outdoor activities include camping, picnicking and boating.

cool!!! go to the southern most point in usa and find a georgia state park tb.. so we brought it on home to georgia and will bring it to our next state park trip..it will be number 10 for the challenge... we committed to camping in and enjoying all of the park when we go for the caches...since we bought a pop-up camper the week the challenge started.. thanks
