About This Item

AMTG Wisconsin Whitetail Deer GC 1

Mid size coin with heft. Aall metal work and 3-D.  The front has a polished outline of the state of Mishigan.  A bold raised compass and a nice backgroun metal textrure.  The reverse is smooth state map with lots of intricate 3-D work showing a deer.  Excellent coin.  -------------------------------So many of my trackable have been muggled that I only release new GCs as virtuals. If you do not approve, please leave it in the cache for a cacher who understands. Thanks.  LL

Photo taken from inside the Fire Control Station at the summit of Diamond Head. From 1908-1950, there were artillery pieces at Fort Ruger, before Diamond Head became a National Natural Landmark. At the summit was the "lookout post" where the gunfire was directed, by spotters using large binoculars mounted on steel posts. This "Fire Control" station was inside a fortified bunker looking out over the ocean. In the photo, you can see through the small opening in the concrete, and down to the hotels on Waikiki Beach below.
