When my husband and I visited Paris many years ago, we stayed with our friend Sandy. Sandy had been asked by an acquaintance to care for her "parrot" while she was out of town. Sandy heard "parrot" and thought "parakeet," so he said OK. Well the bird in question was a beautiful but ill-tempered blue-and-yellow macaw. It was so big that the only place to put the perch was in the kitchen, right next to the bathroom door. After getting pecked once I learned to take two treats for each trip to the bathroom, one for going in and one for coming out. This geocoin is to honor Sandy and his sacrifices to accommodate his friends! Please take it to lots of interesting caches. If it should visit Paris, that would be nice (I'd like to do so myself!), but anywhere it can travel is good.
