About This Item

50 States Travel Bug

The idea for this travel bug came from the events of 9/11/01. This was my idea of a patriotic travel bug: An American flag that visited each of the fifty states.

Needless to say, it's taken a while for me to give the idea form and put the travel bug in motion. The goal is still the same: To visit a cache in each state of the United States of America.

If you can help move 50 States along, please do! If not to another state, then maybe to near the border of another state.

Was passing through and we thought we would stop to pick up the travel bugs to get it moving again. We rescued 50 States from beneath 1-2 ft of snow. He might have spent a couple more months there. Look for him east of here; we will try to tag a couple of states along the way.

We picked up 50 States in Kimbo's amazing Survivor Sacramento cache. If you ever have some time in Sacramento, DO THIS CACHE!

We will try to get 50 States to Oregon or Nevada(no travel plans there until September) or at least closer to a border. Hawaii and Alaska will be more of a challenge.
