This is a multi-challenge cache. The coordinates posted for this
cache are only for the first challenge. As you complete each challenge, you will be
given a password that will allow you to access a web page where the next challenge awaits
you.
The Difficulty of this cache is rated 4
because you will need to succesfully complete between two and ten challenges (I'm not
going to tell you how many challenges there actually are!) before you will aquire the
final coordinates for the Survivor Sacramanto cache.
The Terrain is rated a 4 because
depending on the route you choose, the hike to final cache location can be strenuous,
including a change in elevation of about one thousand feet over a distance of a little
over a mile. That's a steep hike!
I do not expect that you will be able to overcome all of the challenges
in a single day and charge off after the actual cache. While doing so is not
impossible, I would expect to take a number of days to successfully complete all of the
challenges. How long it will take depends on many factors.
Challenge #1
Find and visit the point of interest at the posted coordinates.
Take the last name of the first name in the Sacramento section and append the age.
This name/age combination is the password you will need to access a web page where
you will find the next challenge.
Go to www.guysnamedkim.com/locked/aardvark/document.html.
You will be prompted for a user name and password. The user name is geocache. The password is the name/age
string constructed above.
Remember to only use lowercase letters when entering web addresses, user names and passwords.
