Current Goal

Sharky was on his way to Egypt when he got caught up in a forest fire in a cache in Florida. Fellow geocachers rescued his remains, which only include the dog tag (see photo). The remains are now attached to information regarding the origins of Smokey the Bear. Please spread this TB to wooded areas in order to spread the message to those in the position to prevent forest fires. Ultimately, this TB's goal is to travel as many forests around the world as possible. Thanks.

Syds Humans graciously sent the charred remains of Sharky to me a while ago. After months of mourning, I finally got over the loss and affixed the remains to the Smokey the Bear story, which seemed relevant to a commemoration to Sharky.
