About This Item

bootstrap

I am Bootstrap Bill Turner, a part of the crew of Pirates that has knowledge of the Pirates Code symbols  makin ye compass point  towards the mystery cache, Dead Man's Chest.

Together we know the location of the Dead Man's Chest on ye treasure map and we each carry a unique symbol in the code that will help get you there. Keep ye record of me translation of said symbol, find me other crew mates and have them translate their symbols as well, then you'll understand the pirates code making yer compass point true. (contact triplejcaching@yahoo.com for a template that makes it easy to keep up with the symbols)

If I am the original Bootstrap Bill with a metal tag then log me as a TB find and place me in another of the many ports in the seas of Tarrant County, Texas.

If  you come across one of my replicas without a metal TB tag, please just discover me, you need not log me in or out of caches but please keep me sailing by placing me in another cache. Also, feel free to add your personal touch by attaching not currently attached replica tags to something pirate related before sailing them on.

Replicas were created in case I perish on my journeys. One of you scallywags might imprison me or make me walk the plank.  The Kraken could devour a cache whole with me in it. etc.... etc...... Replicas could be a laminated tag attached to a fellow pirate or could just be a laminated tag that will fit in smaller ports.

The Crew:
Elizabeth Swan
Lord Beckett
Blackbeard
Will Turner
Davy Jones
James Norrington
Bootstrap Bill Turner
Angelica
Captain Barbossa
Captain Jack Sparrow
