On the way to Teague Open Space preserve we drove thru Woodside, CA where the Ninja Duck snaped a picture with the Wandering Monkey in front of a historic looking hotel and saloon. I'm sure it's a remanent of a time when this place was frequented by loggers and copper miners. That's pretty interesting I think!

Back in California, the Wandering Monkey had an opportunity to hike through some of the local foothills

    • Hiking in the hills These are the Calaveras Hills above Milpitas, California, where I dropped off the wandering Monkey. It is very common to see cows, bulls with horns!, coyotes, hawks, and bunny rabbits up here.
    • Big white bull I came up on this guys a little quick. See him hoofing the ground? That got me to back up pretty quick!
    • Sunol Regional Park, California Another day, another cow. This picture was taken a couple of days before I dropped off the WM.
