There are 4 Travel Bugs which represent defunct collieries:

Hammond Travel Bug

Beechwood Travel Bug

Glen Dower Travel Bug

Vulcan Travel Bug

PLEASE DO NOT REMOVE THESE TRAVEL BUGS FROM SCHUYLKILL COUNTY

        


 When you recover one of these Travel Bugs, please move it on quickly as there are probably other geocachers already on the hunt for it !!

 

 

 Each one contains partial coordinates for the final cache location. 

The problem is the nature of travel bugs.

  Sometimes when you forge that 3 mile hike to get that last travel bug.... it has already moved to another spot.

My second find of the four Coal Cracker TB's. The coal isn't with the TB anymore and the Coal Cracker Cache was archived so I guess it doesn't matter but I remember trying to finds these chunks before.

OK, the tracking number is on a scrap piece of paper (from the Holiday Inn).

I found all of the paper work for it, including the coordinates, but no travel dog tags, or the Travel Bug Tracking #. I have deposited it the Watchable Wildlife Cache. Since I do not have the Travel Bug Tracking Number, I can't mark it as retrieved. Let me know what you would like done.
