Picked this guy up in one of our caches in central Indiana. I have used a couple of those tips back in my machining days. I've been collecting some TB's to take with us on our spring break vacation next week.
Many years ago my Great Uncle was deer hunting in the outskirts of Grayling, MI. During that hunt he had an encounter in an area we call "the burn off" where a forest fire occurred earlier. Whatever happened shook him up pretty good and still refuses to talk about it. Coming from anyone else I would quickly dismiss it, but with his education and background in the USAF, I definitely believe him.
And then a few years ago here in central Indiana, I was out late one summer night enjoying a campfire. High in the Southern sky I saw what I thought was a shooting star. But instead this glowed red, moved much slower and lasted a long time before disappearing.
Those are my 2 most memorable encounters.
