Current Goal

UPDATE: Buckeye Bug has been Re-Released! After a successful 2006 Football season which included Buckeye Bug seeing nearly every home game (including the Michigan game), going to Austin, TX for the Texas game and getting to join back up with me for the National Championship game, it's time for BB to hit the trail again.
It took two seasons the first time around before Buckeye Bug made it to a game, how long will it take this time?

Help Buckeye Bug get to the Buckeye City (Columbus) so BB can help cheer on the Ohio State Buckeyes as they drive down the field to another successful season! Along the way BB would love to visit other college campuses. However, be wary of that state up north. Unless he's traveling with a group of fellow Buckeyes, BB doesn't want to visit Michigan.

I took Buckeye Bug out for some fresh air at lunch time. We found my 100th together today.

I guess last Saturday was a reality check for the football Buckeyes. 17-10... We came home with a W. It wasn't pretty, but it was still a W. We can't afford to look past Northwestern this Saturday. The Wildcats would like nothing better than to spoil our season. Go Bucks! Beat Northwestern.

C'mon Buckeye Bug, I'll show you some more of Columbus before AZBliss02 comes to town later this month for the BIG GAME. Two days until the Buckeyes go visit the Illini.

Took Buckeye Bug out for a fall walk this afternoon. Visited a small cache on the north end of Columbus.

The Minnesota Golden Gophers came to play the Buckeyes, but left with nothing...

  • Ticket in hand, Buckeye in pocket... Buckeye Bug is headed to the Minnesota Game. Archie Griffin, #45, is on today's ticket.

  • Buckeye Bug and BigBill54 What a great day. Jack Nicklaus was honored at halftime today by being only the fifth non-band member to ever 'Dot the I' in Script Ohio. While attending Ohio State University, he won the U.S. Amateur title twice (1959, 1961), and an NCAA Championship (1961).

Indiana came to town with high hopes.

  • Indiana... Here we come! Buckeye Bug with our Tix. It's cooler today, so we'll have our colors on.
  • On the floor for Skull Session with the bands Our two nieces came today with their High school marching band, so we got to sit on the St Johns Arena floor bleachers. Indiana brought their band also. It's a great free concert. About 1/3rd of the folks that come to hear Skull Session do not have a ticket for the game!
  • Here comes TBDBITL! When the OSU band enters St Johns at 120 steps per minute, the crowd goes nuts! I've never seen the band enter from this perspective. The team will stop in on their way to the stadium.
  • St Johns, a full house for a free concert! Buckeye Bug must be a lucky nut. We've never had seats this good!
  • Bug on the banner! Look closely, that's Buckeye Bug hanging on the banner!
  • The Bucks won again! Final score: OSU 44 Indiana 3. We kept them out of the End Zone today. Another great game!
  • Up, Up, and Away! You can't argue with that. The Buckeyes are soaring!

C'mon Buckeye Bug, the Hoosiers are coming to town in four days. I got you a seat with 105,000 screaming fans. It's rainy in Columbus this week, but I'll keep you dry so you don't sprout.
