Current Goal

Mission: to go to the Grand Rapids Michigan area (Kent County, Holland, Grand Haven) and visit every cache. Visiting other caches in west and north michigan is good too, but keep moving me back towards home! Multiple pickups by area cachers are OK. Pictures are appreciated.

You Can't Go Home Again

I grew up in Grand Rapids Michigan. A nice place to raise kids it's said, but when I got to a certain age I made a break for it to Sunny California. I've been back a few times, but family is all gone from there and friends have scattered.

I miss it sometimes. I knew it well - knew the streets, knew the stores, the hills, the parks. I lived on the South side and can picture most of it effortlessly. I wonder when I'll ever go back again, so I made this Travel Bug to make the trip for me.

It was mentioned it past geocache logs that this trackable was not in the geocache. You should mark it as missing.<p><p>

Marking a trackable as missing doesn't mess with it's mission or where it as been, it simply removes the trackable from the geocache's inventory. Doing this will get it out of the inventory so future visitors to the geocache won't be looking for your trackable. When the trackable shows up again it will simply continue along it's way.<p>

WOW this one has not moved for some time!! Today we were looking for another multi cache in this park (GC34HG6). About 60 feet away from Ground Zero I spot an ammo can. Think "Boy these coords are way off" I open the ammo box and found it to be an old archived cache. Your trackable was still inside missing the metal "dog tag". We will try to drop it with in the city limits of Grand Rapids.
