Current Mission: BOSTON
This is our TB Larson from Köln (Cologne) in Germany.
Please try to take him to Boston so he can be picked-up by a good friend of mine who will return it home to Germany!
Larson loves beautiful landscapes! So Larson and his Owner would be really really happy if you take a shot from the cache surroundings - just to show the nature where this little fellow has been around. Pleaaaase...
First Mission
When this TB was launched in 2007, it was named after our dog Larson (
gallery), which got famous by his
Podcast called "GassiPods (sorry, only German language).
Larson was born 27th February 2000 and the first mission of its TB was to travel to the most northern point of New Zealand, where my wife and me spend a beautifull day in March 1999.
The TB Larsonstarted in 2007 and traveled quickly from Germany to Scottland, then indeed to New Zealand (see log down below)!

Second Mission
Quickly afterwards it made it - continuing East around the world to Canada, area Vancouver, where I (the owner) have met my girlfriend Meli, in Summer of 1995. (This probably was the first internet-born relationship ever! We have met on IRC in November 1994 and have been just 9000 km away from each other). That time Mel and me went on a whale watching tour and in 2012 I returned to Vancouver Island with my family and shot this photo to the right. And no, my wife's name is NOT Mel, but guess what, we have met up all together in Vancouver!
I thought to myself "Wow, this little guy visits all those places that made important memories for me in life!"Third Mission
TB Larson then travelled South and really came close to Plano, Dallas, where I have been once in 2005. I used to work 9 years for EDS and the HQ was in Plano (before HP took over and the firm went down the drain - too bad).
The 'real' one...
On 21 July 2014 Larson died after 14 ½ years and we took farewell in a liitle family ceremony (see photo down below). Gosh, that was sad.... :O(
The 'next' one...
And yes, two years before Larson died he had the chance to educate his successor, Kalle!
He was born on 6th January 2012 and moved in in March 2012. He is a great fun dog and seems to be very intelligent. Also, he is looking a little bit like the TB.
