Hello I’m Petie The Pink and here is my mission.

I want to travel all over the world and meet cancer survivors. I would like to have my picture taken with you and other survivors. Then I would love to see and read your stories on my TB page. Then help me travel to the next story and the next person. And someday return back to my Minnesota home.

About This Item

Here is MY story.
I’m owned by a boy (Mdarkarrow) in 2000 his mother (pinkpetie) was diagnosed with breast cancer. She fought just like so many other people, and she won her battle. She has been cancer free for 6 years now. Her boy and her husband are very grateful that she fought so hard. My boy (Mdarkarrow) received my tag as a gift and decided that my story and his mom’s (pinkpetie) should be shared. As you can see I’m a breast cancer bear but that does not matter. We (my family and I) want to hear your survivor story and see your picture with me.

Posted off to Ireland to begin its journey- thanks to SirRoy for agreeing to place it in a cache in Ireland! For the long travel across the Atlantic, this TB has two friends joining it, the TB Irish Traveller (TB2HRT1), which has the mission to travel to all 32 counties in Ireland, where its owner- me- is from, and the geocoin Get Your Green (TB2X5P6), which wanted to go to Ireland as its owner can't.

Took this from Turtle Woods cache today. What a cute little bear. I am not a survivor myself, but my dad survived colon cancer in the 1990s. He was lucky, relatively, that it was caught early and after a few radiation treatments, he was ok. When someone you love has cancer, the days never seem sunny. I hope this bear has many sunny days all over the world before returning to its owner!
