You should be able to do both this cache and Kurliiny Tjenangitj Trail as we did them both before lunch in a single day. Just choose the day as both walks are not quick and heat will be your enemy.
The cache has been placed along the trail near a popular photographers spot ... so if your inclined bring your pikcha takin' thingy. This cache is a little easier for the younger geokids. Expect to hike about 2 hours/4km's round trip to get the cache and return.
Start at the suggested car park near river rd bridge at Honeymoon pool campsite - S33.23.065/E115.56.362.
Head in a southerly, then easterly direction from the car park following the green trail markers along the river. This trail is the Sika Trail and follows along the riverside. This medium level walk trail passes through mature jarrah forest and gives some impressive views of the Collie River Valley. The track follows the river, passing rocky outcrops, deep pools and several rapids.
