Late logging so its got a bit confused. Catching on 3 weeks caching around the country. I picked this up from Firkin Point and dropped it on the summit of Ben Nevis.
Part of my 3 peaks solo tour 2009. My target was Snowdon, Ben Nevis and Sca Fell Pike but I also managed Cader Idris; Half-way up Ben Lomond and Black combe as well as several other less taxing walks and lots of exploring and visiting new places as well as renewing acquaintance with some old friends. Drove 2000 miles; walked 85 miles; climbed approx 16,000 feet; stayed in 6 very different Youth Hostels (Kings, Dolgellau; Pen-Y-Pass; Loch Lomond; Glen Nevis; Carlisle and Eskdale). Met loads of interesting people. Saw seals at Mallaig and Red Squirrels in Eskdale. For my next challenge …….. who knows????
