Geocache Description:


A nice easy stroll on the Bonnie Banks along the old road which now forms part of the 5 mile Firkin to Luss walkway. The walkway can be accessed from Firkin Point picnic area (recommended) or from various marked parking places on either side of the A82, which runs parallel all the way.

A word of caution. The parking places can only be accessed in the direction you are travelling so if parking Northbound be careful crossing the road as the traffic can be travelling at speed.

Access times to Firkin Point picnic area are seasonal with October – March typically 1000 till 1500, this is extended in the summer months.
