Santa this is no time for you to be lazing in the summer heat on an island in Wellington Harbour! (though the lovely helpful rangers do deserve lots of nice presents!)
Your elves held a union meeting and demanded that you get back to work immediately, even if it is colder at the North Pole! So I kidnaapped you and brought you back with me to the North Island ready for further travels.
Your first assignment was to attend a very nice pre-Christmas Party with me immediately after leaving the island, which you did, and thanks for the nice fridge magnet I was given there! Your next assignment (apart from possibly a visit or two) will be to wish a certain youngster a merry Christmas- wait and see!
