To travel from cache to cache and go as far as possible. The key for the bike lock is actually in the cache. The bike should be locked to something nearby (a tree if in the woods). Please keep the key in a cache near the bike (do not separate).

This TB is a full size mountain bike. Therefore, there are some logistical issues in moving it from cache to cache. See if you can figure out a solution to keep it moving. Tell us your transport story.

The 3 options that come to my mind are:
  1. Walk to the cache; ride the bike to the next cache; walk home (For those who like lots of exercise).
  2. Have your partner drive to the next cache while you ride the bike.
  3. If you have a vehicle that can handle it, transport the bike in your vehicle (back of truck, trunk/hatchback of a car, etc.). This option creates the potential for the TB traveling large distances.

Any bike maintenance that you can do is much appreciated (fill tires, repair, etc).

My wife pharmagirl grabbed this as it came through the door! Oooh we can't wait to have fun with this one! We already started decorating it even more. Pics coming soon and will be moving along this weekend. Got the Pics and will be heading to it's next stop today!

Dropped this off today, and I've found out that it couldn't be in BETTER HANDS!! Mr. "KB_Trials" has it now, and after looking at his website, I think this TB has some fun in store for it!!! ( www.kevinbrody.com ) I'm dying to see Bicycle being ridden the way I see he rides bikes!! OMG! HOW COOL!

  • On its way! Bicycle is all set and ready to head to another destination on the back of my car. We added a color co-ordinated horn and handlebar tassles to spruce it up a bit!
  • MY BIKE! Here is Mr. Samirsky, owner of the oversized TB, hanging out with it at the SNEG Winter Wander GEO-meet 2008 where I dropped it off today. Its now in new hands, and I hope they have as much fun with it as I did! Ride on, Bicycle, Ride on!

This has been on my watch list for quite awhile, and this was my 4th attempt at getting my hands on it! I'm so glad its finally in my possesion, but now, what to do with it??? I'll get it back out on the road ASAP!

  • We found it! BabySyms in the drivers seat here with MamaSyms after tracking down this elusive TB! FINALLY!
  • SNOW TIRES! BabySyms pushing the TB back to the car, the tires were gathering up the snow on the way! I don't think "Bicycle" is used to the harsh Massachusetts winters yet, but we'll break it in!
  • Taking the Bike home BabySyms pushed this TB the whole way back to the car through the snow. She was so thrilled to have found such a COOL TB!!! I think it was bigger than her but she was tough and did a great job!
