SGT.PEPPERS LONELY HEART beats only for the Beatles. It likes to travel to Liverpool and it's looking forward to see photos of the band. Please, take pictures. After a great time in the British Empire send it back to the Klawitters.

To our great pleasure and with the help of many geocachers this TB fullfilled its mission. It visited together with Phil many famous places at Liverpool. Now we need your help again to let SGT.PEPPERS LONELY HEART return to one of the Klawitters-cache in Germany/ Rhineland-Palatinate (zurück in die Pfalz!!)

The Penny Lane cache is only a micro so this TB could not stay here, but it did have its photo taken with the world famous road sign.
It them moved on the Liverpool John Lennon Airport to be photographed with the Yellow Submarine!!!

At lunchtime the weather was lovely and warm, so after a little googling, I decided to go and find three more famous Beatles locations (they were only 2 or 3 miles from my office)
20 Forthlin Road (childhood home of Paul McCartney in the late 1950's and early 1960's), Strawberry Field (though the song added an 's' on to this to make 'Fields') and "Mendips", 251 Menlove Avenue (childhood home of John Lennon from 1945 to 1963).
I found all three and was surprised that I'd often driven past Strawberry Field and Mendips, yet never realised it!
