Current Goal

The challenge of this bug is for cachers to help him travel around, and to get him into strange and unusual situations. Don't forget to post pictures!

About This Item

This bug was once a beloved childhood toy called Omnibot. When I was a kid in the late 70's - early 80's, this was a really technologically advanced toy. I recently tried to refurbish it for my daughter, with zero success. The next best thing I could think of was a travel bug. Keep in mind, this is a HUGE travel bug (see pictures below). In some situations it may be best to leave him near the cache, rather than in it. If you do this, make sure to hide him a bit, so that he doesn't give away the cache location. This would be a good bug to trade at cache events, etc. Have fun with him.

Picked up this "little" guy at a fun event. Mr 4BOWS had one of these for about a week back in the 80's, before he decided it wasn't as cool as he thought it would be! Nice piece of nostalgia. We have a couple of good caches in mind for him to visit.

That is not the biggest TB that I have seen, I was in Boise at a Geocoinfest and three cachers has cars that were actual trackable TB's, but it is the biggest portable TB I have seen, Thanks

Spotted this guy in the listings and just had to grab him. Pried him out of the large cache container he was in. It's not easy to nonchalantly walk away from a cache area while carrying this behemoth under your arm. Plan to go out again this weekend; if I don't find a sizable container, I know where there is one I have already been to that he would fit in. So he will patiently await on the dining room table. My kid has already had silverware, a can of pop and other things in its hands -- currently he is holding the cordless phone in case anyone wants it.
