The first Norwegian geocoin - a crown from 1950.
More than 50 years old, this kind of coin is no longer circulating in the markets, but now circulates as a Geocoin. It is larger and heavier than today's Norwegian krone. Minted under Haakon VII, Norway's king from independence in 1905 to 1957, it carries his ambition: Alt for Norge. Please do not keep the coin, but allow it to tour geocaches in Norway as a reminder of the upcoming independence centenary.

Very nice norwegian TB! It's a pleasure to have it in the Montreal's area! Greetings from Quebec, Canada!😎
Well, here is a geocrown far away from Norway. I retrieved it from a cache near Iberville, Québec, Canada. I plan to drop it tomorrow in the Laurentides region. Maybe it is the start of the trip back home.
C'est vite dépensé 😉
On est passé le prendre dans la cache à Gumby pour le faire voyager un peu. Nous partons pour la fin de semaine, nous lui trouverons bien un petit coin douillet. Les Intrépides :)
The coin will move soon !
