The first Norwegian geocoin - a crown from 1950.
More than 50 years old, this kind of coin is no longer circulating in the markets, but now circulates as a Geocoin. It is larger and heavier than today's Norwegian krone. Minted under Haakon VII, Norway's king from independence in 1905 to 1957, it carries his ambition: Alt for Norge.
Please do not keep the coin, but allow it to tour geocaches in Norway as a reminder of the upcoming independence centenary.
