Current Goal

This coin has only one mission. That mission will be to travel with me from geocache to geocache. If my GPSr ever fails me, I'll always have this quarter for that ONE LAST CALL.

During my travels, I will dip this quarter into caches I would consider as being creative, exciting, or just those that left an impression on me. Sort of my "Rouges Gallery" of top notch geocaches. I will also use to this quarter to bookmark friendships I've made while out on the caching trail.

About This Item

Originally I called Oregon my home, but lived for several years in Washington state. I have since moved to the Southwest but still have very fond memories of the Northwest. Now I call myself an Orezonian. This coin will always be a fond reminder of my previous life in the Northwest.

This Washington State Geocoin was minted and activated in September of 2006. The mountain on the back of the coin is an image of Mount Rainer (14,410 feet). The bird is an American Goldfinch. This coin was created by Forty-n-Eight, a Washington state based geocacher.

The cache is located just north of the historic town of Jerome, Arizona. It's a short hike up to the cache from the road, but the view is one you will remember for a long time. Grabbed this cache towards the end of a day of caching in the Sedona - Jerome area. This is a must grab if you visit this town on a side of a mountain.

This is multi-part cache which ends up at a place which has a fantastic view to the south. Its a nice hike into the cache and you pass two other caches on the way. A must do if you are in the South Mountain area.

Down in Ajo caching with my Dad, AjoJack. This was the first of two caches we grabbed today. Great view, great cammo, and it was just nice caching with my Dad. If you drive through Ajo, Arizona .. you just have to stip at this cache up on the hill.
