The ShutterBug's mission is to collect pictures of extraordinary trees.

About This Item

The ShutterBug

The ShutterBug is a disposable camera that started out at The Pringle Tree Cache in Buckhannon, West Virginia, USA. Its mission is to travel about collecting pictures of extraordinary trees. I leave it to the cacher with the camera to define extraordinary for himself or herself, and seek artistic shots of distinctive trees, or trees in singular settings, with or without people.

When the camera's full, email me and I'll send you a stamped envelope for its return, and a replacement camera to place in a new cache. I'll get the old one developed and post the pictures on the web, make sure you note the exposure numbers you used in your log.

Have fun with this one!

Wow, finally found some great trees to photo (while I had the TB on me 🙂 ). These ones are frames 11-16, and were all taken in the Paluma National Park. Little Creek is a most excellent swimming place, with some great Wet Tropics trees and deep pools to jump into. Paluma is also known as the Village in the Clouds, it is always misty and cloudy up here. This is especially nice with the hot tropical Queensland summer coming on. Will move this travel bug off down to Sydney to see what other photos can be collected!
