THE ABOVE COORDS ARE NOT THE LOCATION OF THE CACHE

CHANGES HAVE BEEN MADE TO THE CLUES ..... SEE BELOW!

The Fortress protects the inhabitants, and in turn the location of The Fortress is protected by the Guardians. Find the Guardians, discover the clues, locate The Fortress and access The Keep. Beware the advancing Marines.

For centuries the Fortress has been under construction, and constantly under attack by the Outers. To protect the location of the Fortress, the secret coordinates have been entrusted to The Guardians of the Fortress. However, each Guardian only holds the key to one of the coordinate parts. Follow the keys held by The Guardians and this may just provide the path to The Fortress, protected in the final instance by the Marines.

A visit to the 1st Guardian will provide the clue to the latitude ..... the 2nd Guardian protects the clue to the longitude. The Guardians may be approached in any order.

Guardian 1 ... Visit GC311QR and check out the Guardian located there. Divide 765.758 by the number of web strands, then times by the number of legs resting on the pole to locate this key (there is no requirement to complete GC311QR as part of this cache).

Guardian 2 ... Visit GC27W2N and check out the Guardian located there. Multiply 2092.56842857143 by the number of legs touching the web strands, then divide by the number of legs NOT resting on the web strands to locate this key (there is no requirement to complete GC27W2N as part of this cache).

The key from Guardian 1 leads to the latitude and the key from Guardian 2 leads to the longitude of The Fortress.

Place the degree symbols and decimals in the appropriate positions and make your way to the Fortress. Beware the Marines and remember, the inhabitants are sacrosanct.

The Keep will hold small and medium sized TBs and GCs and should be replaced in the same manner found, lest those unworthy discover the Keep and lead to the downfall of The Fortress.
