Just as the sign says - A tongue of Lava
This short and easy boardwalk will take you to a place of reptilian wildlife, lizards and snakes (many birds, koalas, kangaroos and emus also frequent this area).
The natural rocky outcrop is where the lava broke through to the surface. It's exposure to the sun, makes it an ideal reptilian habitat.
You won't need to leave the boardwalk to gain access to this small container, but do look out for snakes.
