How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

I have reserved a meeting room in the Ashburn Library
on Hay Road for January 14th from 1-5PM for a NoVAGO "kick-off" meeting.
The room holds around 60 so don't be shy about attending
there should be plenty of room for everyone.

Just wanted to take the opportunity to get the new Officers introduced and set the goals for NoVAGO in the new year. If you have any suggested topics or comments, please post them to the "events" forum on Everyone is invited to cache a bit, meet up for lunch, and attend the business meeting.

I would also like to debut the presentation for the Riverbend Park "Geocaching 101" class and maybe talk a bit about GSAK, and other tools.

Caching Ashburn will kick off around 8AM and last until noon or so. I am open to suggestions for a lunch venue to follow for those interested. Any volunteers to lead a group or two?

Schedule of events:
Morning Caching - 8:00 til Noon
Lunch - Noon til 1PM (Location Tijuana Flats in Ashburn Village in the shopping center at the corner of Route 7 and Ashburn Village Blvd. See the waypoint
Business Meeting - 1:00 - 5:00 at Ashburn Library
Night caching - ????
