Geocache Description:

This cache is along one of the hiking trails in Eisenhower State Park. I placed it today on my way to find "Seeing Red" by TeamVilla5. The proper paperwork is approved and on file with the park rangers at park headquarters. I have five caches at Bonham State Park, and this is my first here! Remember, there is a $5/person entrance fee for the park. Pass the Ranger Headquarters, take the first right, and the trailhead will be on your left (with parking on the right).

My GPS showed .48 miles or some such as I left the parking area to get Seeing Red, so I placed this one near the halfway point. It's named after a line from the late, great John Candy in the movie Stripes. He says that great line when he gets off the bus at basic training and sees his commanding officers for the first time. That movie is greatness...but I digress.

Here are some tips:
1) 30 cal Ammo box marked "geocache" loaded with stuff
2) If you want to avoid some of the hike, pass the parking area and gamble that the campsites around the corner are empty. They back up to the trail and offer super-easy access as short-cuts.
3) The first trail marker is one (or two or three if you use the shortcut). At marker six (formerly eight), there is a bench nearby. When the trail bends to the right, you shouldn't.

I guess that about does it. I think I put a pen inside, but I'm not sure...remember the Boy Scout motto...
