Geocache Description:


Set within a pine plantation, popular for horse riding and mountain biking, the old Kowen Homestead recreation area is perfect for camping, picnics, geocaching and barbeques and can also be booked exclusively for specific functions and large events. At the campsite, there are wood fired and gas BBQs, a toilet, shelter, and tables.

The camp site is located at S35º 17.330, E149º 17.230 but the cache can be found at the posted coordinates just down the road near the old Kowen Camp.
