Geocache Description:


The cache is a 1 liter camping bottle. It is located near the tip of Catawba Island, on a small beach. The beach overlooks Kelley's Island, Mouse Island, and Perry's Monument on South Bass Island. In the summer this area sees heavy traffic and beach goers. There is room to park along the road. The cache is on public land, please respect the private property near by.

There is a small tree on the extreme southeast corner of the beach. Stand on the water side of this tree looking south. Angle off at 1 o'clock from the tree, about 15 feet behind the tree is the cache. Check the photo clues below. The tree in the picture is the reference point. The boy is sitting on the stone in question.
