A silvery crescent, at times incandescent,
Invites your perceptive pursuit
Whether waxing or waning, it's full in containing
A sundry selection of loot
Far away from the tides this small satellite hides,
Near a notable namesake at rest
In the shade of a tree on a south apogee
With a full circle facing northwest
When you stand at the site of the demilune light,
Where the wooded topography dips,
The memorial disk is above the meniscus
And ever so slightly eclipsed
Mount Peace is the place where this silvery face shines,
Sequestered on shadowy ground,
And the first to arrive will acquire a 5
When the luminous capsule is found!
This cache will hold small trade items. Original contents include pencil and log, seashells, dimes, wine glass charms, an angel bell, and $5 for the FTF!
