You can park in several spots along the nearby road or park in the village of Longframlington. A short circular walk along a public footpath, down by the burn, along another footpath and back along the not too busy road to where you started from.
I’ve lived around here for nearly 10 years and have not been this way before. So on Christmas morning 2006, we decided to have a short walk after breakfast along with Sllimbo and family. Then home to see what Santa had left behind for us. To commemorate my first visit, Amy and I have hidden a cache or two. It’s less than a 2 mile round trip, so like us if you fancy a breath of fresh air and some good scenery as well as a couple of caches take a trip to “Valley Of The Skulls”. Cache is not at the tree, tree is not by the cache, use the additional waypoint below or N 55° 19.542 W 001° 47.746 for the tree. Two of the skulls were already in place, we added the 3rd on Christmas morning. If you have a skull spare please feel free to add it to the collection and place a photo in your log. PS. When we placed the cache it was EXTREMELY muddy and wet
