This is one of our Fast Cache Series caches.
The caches in our Fast Cache Series are meant to be quick, easy caches along Rt. 2 for all travelers who are traveling East or West. All the caches in our Fast Cache Series have pull-off’s with plenty of parking and all the caches are within feet of your car. They are designed to be quick caches, allowing for drivers/families to take a break from their drive.
This area has lots of parking, several picnic tables, a couple of benches and a pavilion. This area in the summer months is very busy with people swimming, kayaking, tubing and fishing the Deerfield River. Don't be surprised to see many people here during the warmer months from Zoar Outdoors and Crab Apple Rafting.
This cache was placed using our new Rino530 GPS. We took an average of 15 coordinates and were accurate to 12 feet.
Please use stealth when finding this cache during the spring/summer months, as there will be lots of people around. The fall/winter months shouldn’t be an issue.
Cache is hidden well so please re-hide as you found it so others won’t be able to see it.
This cache is winter friendly and the parking area should be plowed during the winter.
