A simple little cache for your drive along the coast!
A little bird told us the folks on the coast find it difficult to rack up the numbers because they are so isolated.
Therefore, we decided to both help them out, and honor them at the same time.
This cache is one of an original baker’s dozen of caches hidden to honor those who have hidden at least two caches between Florence and Newport. Please note - some of these have gone to cache heaven after all these years.
All are easy. Two are on the ground, the others are not. Eleven are the same container, two are different - including this one.
All have easy, safe parking nearby. Many have views, a few do not.
As of 10/26/15 - this is a FULL SIZE AMMO CAN to accomodate travellers along US 101. It is cabled so hopefully it will not walk away.
As of 04/26/2019 - this is a "small" lock and lock, camoed. It is not an ammo can anymore - as someone had to cut the locked cable to steal the cache.
