Cace location edited due to start of winder and clue is probably gone .... THIS COULD BE A DANGEROUS CACHE, SNAKES, WILD ANIMALS, FALLS, NO TRAILS, OVERNIGHT STAYS COULD ALL LEAD TO YOU GETTING HURT, DO NOT ATTEMPT TO LOCATE IT IF YOU DO NOT FEEL UP TO IT.

I lucked out, the gate for the road in was open because they are logging, it will close again approx 20 July 2001. Its a long long walk, plan on spending at least one night in the wild :) Suggested starting points: Wrights Lake from the east....Union Valley Reservoir from the west....Slick Rock from the south, its up to you. You will find gates on the roads and posted land signs .... as long as you stay on the road you are ok. For those comeing in walking on the road, load this lat/lon and it will show you which road to come in on from the east or west N38° 54.053' W120° 17.768', This is where I camped. For those coming from Slick Rock for get it in the spring and winter you will never get accross the big creek, other wise just load the camp and go for it :)Routes, topo maps and sat photo's are a must have There is only one (ONE) sort of safe route to the main cache .....

WildLife ..... Rattle Snakes, saw a nice 4 footer. Bears, saw their crap and where they had been rippin dead logs apart for grubs. Mountain Lions, did not see any but loggers and a guy staying way to hell out in the middle of no where :) said they are there. Deer and birds, saw redtail hawks (pair) lots of small stuff .... Please be carefull ...... this is not a walk in the park
