Geocache Description:

Located in Cranbury, an easy, fun cache!

Smokey’s Cache

This cache is dedicated to our beloved cat Smokey, who is waiting for us on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge.

The cache is located in the happy little town of Cranbury, New Jersey, my home.

Cranbury is one of the oldest towns in New Jersey. Some say as long ago as 1660. The first recorded evidence of buildings here in Cranbury is dated to 1689. David Brainerd labored with the Indians in a place just west of his namesake lake. You can see an image of this event on the Welcome to Cranbury signs located on the roadsides leading into town.

Please be sure to take a walk down Main Street before/after you have located the cache.

The Cache is well stocked with goodies and includes FIRST TO FIND swag. ENJOY! Please be sure to make an entry in the log and if possible mention the weather conditions. Please trade even or up. Cash In Trash Out. is always the way to go!

I placed this cache so it would be quick to locate. Please place it back in the same spot and cover it well.

The cache container is a larger-sized “AMMO CAN” container. It’s approximately 12 X 9 X 4. Please be sure the can is closed after your visit. Park in the adjacent lot. Watch out for the Soccer Moms.

The cache was placed on New Years Eve, 2006 and was stocked with the following:
