I want to thank everyone who came and especially thank the locals that placed those great temp and permeate caches[^]

Hopefully next year will be a little warmer... I'm sure it will be just as fun as the last two have been.

Special thanks goes out to S10 for cooking up the idea and getting the Galesburg folk to put this on...with out him we wouldn't now possess these great memories.

This year I have been nominated to host this humble and lovable event that all enjoyed in the year past, with the help of 2dux and S-10 it looks to be another great one! S-10 once again has offered to place several temporary caches and 2dux is eager to launch some of his own. Area cachers will be encouraged to set out new caches in sprit of the event and I will be expanding my “Stumped Series” which was launched for this reason last year… so you out of town folks should have plenty to do. Of course there will be coin collectors on hand, and as always Travel Bugs are welcome. Tall tales of “the cache I couldn’t find” are sure to pop-up along with the good old argument; “my GPS is better than your GPS” will certainly surface before it’s over with. The Stockade offers a great breakfast buffet with eggs and omelets made to order, fresh cinnamon rolls, pancakes, fruit and yes even ice-cream. But the best part is the fellowship with familiar faces and the warm welcome we will all extend to the new ones. I am honored to be this year’s host, and with fresh wind back in my sails, I hope I can accommodate a great time for all
