An easy 15 min walk to the stunning Wharariki beach.
A short drive from Puponga (6km)to a car park and then a nice walk over farm land to one of Golden Bays best beaches.After you have done the 400ml cache with log book and usual swaps check out the windswept wave sculptured islands and local seal population.There are a number of other walks from here with some beach walks and cliff top vistas.If you have children take there boogie boards with you and they will have a lot of fun sliding down the sand dunes.
