For over a century Hampton was a mill town with a large mill pond that was the focus of village life. Thanks to the hard work of local residents and the assistance of the Central Lake Ontario Conservation Authority, Hampton once again has a pond, albeit quite a bit smaller than in its heyday. Drop by the pond just north of the parking area on Millstream Lane (where the mill once stood)

To get to the cache, follow the creek downstream of the dam, along the path on the east side. You'll eventually have to leave the path to get to the cache, but the terrain is flat and clear, but watch for a few thorny bushes.

The cache is a camouflaged poly container with a watertight gasket. Inside you'll find:
