Geocache Description:

This is the 2nd geocache of the trainer series.

This cache is a regular (full size) tucked away in an easily accessed spot with good parking. Parking close to the waypoint (coordinates) will help to obstruct the view of area muggles (non-member passers by). The cache is a plastic storage container, camouflage painted to blend in with surroundings.

The name, Corner Pocket, is a partial spoiler (hint) that will give you confidence that you are approaching the target (geocache) area. While conducting your search, always be good to mother nature. There is never a good excuse for trampling flowers and shrubbery in search of a geocache. Also, digging is forbidden.

Trades:
You will also find assorted trades (trinkets, swag, geojunk) that you may swap for something you have that is of equal or greater value. For example, don’t take a flashlight and leave a 2-cent Happy-meal toy. It is customary to swap only one item. Children in particular enjoy this ritual and it’s worth cautioning that it is better to bring children only to areas away from where they live. That way they won’t be able to return with their friends who tend to tamper with and mishandle the caches, which usually leads to the caches’ demise. Don’t use food as a swap since it attracts animals.

Travel Bugs:
Travel Bugs are special trinkets that you do not trade for. They all are owned by members who track their movements from cache to cache. If you pick up one, you must leave it in another cache. When you do, you need to record your action. For more information, please refer to Trackable Items (visit link)

Finally, reseal the container so that the contents remain dry and replace it as found. When team caching (searching with several people), it’s a good idea to have it replaced by the same member who extracted it. That way you can avoid putting it back in the wrong place.
